Volunteer Bio

As a community volunteer, Robert has served in many capacities over the years. He was a Subcommittee Chair of both the 2005 and 2008 Humble ISD Bond Study Committees. He served on the District’s Handbook Review Committee, Student Health Advisory Committee and District Advisory Committee.

At the campus level, Robert has served as a Junior Achievement classroom volunteer in the economics classes at both Humble and Kingwood High Schools. He also served as the Kiwanis Key Club advisor for Kingwood Park High School.

Through his employer, Insperity, he is involved with programs serving the students at Lakeland Elementary and Humble Middle. He also serves on the Lake Houston Area Chamber’s Governmental Affairs Committee. Robert is active as an elementary school Science Fair judge, and also has the honor of attending 5th grade Manners Lunches, throughout the school year.

Robert currently serves on the Board of the Village Learning and Achievement Center. He is an active member of the Humble Intercontinental Rotary.

At Christ the King Lutheran Church, Robert was a Group Leader in the student ministry, and served in this capacity for over eight years. He also served on the 2005 Capital Campaign Committee.

In the past, Robert served for two years as President of Kingwood Service Association, the umbrella association of the Kingwood Community Associations. He also coached Pony Baseball for ten years in the KWFC Baseball Association.
